Skin Care FAQ

How do I know if a peel or microdermabrasion is right for me?

  • Regardless of your skin type you can benefit from either of these treatments. We have a large range of peels for different skin types and conditions. You can setup a free consultation with one of our licensed estheticians for more information.

How often can I get a peel?

  • Mild peels can be done once a month. If you have acne prone skin or hyperpigmentation you should commit to five to ten peels in order to get the best results.

How often should I get a facial?

  • This depends on your skin type, skin goals and skin condition. Once a month may be ideal for someone who wants to take good care of their skin. We recommend getting a facial at least four times a year, when the seasons change.

  • After any facial service we recommend you wait at least 24 hours before applying cosmetics or going out in direct sunlight.

  • wear a dark swimsuit or undergarment and flip flops to your session.

  • Exfoliate the skin prior to your session. You may exfoliate with a body mitt and body wash or a sugar scrub.

  • Come to your appointment with clean makeup free skin.

  • Come to your appointment without deoderant. It is ok to wear lotion the day of your spray tan.

  • Shower or sweat for 8 hours after Tahitian tan , 2-3 hours after the Fiji express tan.

  • Don't wear tight fitting garments after appointment (day of).

  • Exfoliate or shave daily. Over exfoliation will dull your tan.

  • Keep body hydrated with a daily moisturizer.

  • Apply South Seas Tan extender for a longer lasting tan

  • Your spray tan will last over a week on your body: use tahitian tan mist on your face, hands and feet as they may fade faster.
